ScienceTokyo
ScienceTokyo is a free campus wireless LAN service available for research and educational purposes. The service is provided across all campuses. The Wi-Fi password common to all campuses is STWireless. For details, please refer to the ScienceTokyo User Guide.
ScienceTokyoX
By obtaining a NOC ID through the Science Tokyo (Engineering) Portal, you can access the following services.
This service is available on the Science Tokyo (Engineering) campuses. (Not available on the Medicine & Dentistry campus.)
Additional services using NOC ID are planned for future release.
eduroam
This service is provided through eduroam, a global academic wireless LAN roaming infrastructure. As such, it is treated as a guest network at Science Tokyo.
Guest Services
Guests and invited visitors are not able to use the campus wireless LAN.
A guest wireless LAN service is available for external visitors. Please review the terms of service and applicable fees for each option before selecting the appropriate service.
Wi2, Wi2_club
This is a public wireless LAN service provided by Wire & Wireless Co., Ltd.
Internet access via wireless LAN is available in the same coverage areas as the campus wireless network.
Please note that each individual user must subscribe to this service independently (paid).
Event Net / ScienceTokyo-events
For events such as academic conferences held at Science Tokyo, a temporary dedicated network is provided free of charge, provided that a Science Tokyo faculty or staff member agrees to take responsibility for network usage during the event.
