This section introduces the operation policy for ScienceTokyo network resources.
Subdomain List
A list of subdomains used by each academic and administrative unit is published here.
For the policy itself, please refer to "4th Heads of Units Liaison Meeting Materials — On the Assignment of Unit Domains at Institute of Science Tokyo".
For each subdomain, please first check the status and policy of your own organization (at the unit level). If anything is unclear after that, please contact us individually. For details on the policy and the application procedure, please see the page below.
About Titanet4
On the School of Science and Engineering campus, the campus network was renewed in FY2022. In line with the wired network upgrade, the campus wireless LAN was also revised at the same time.
Titanet4 provides broad and powerful support for everything from cutting-edge research and development carried out both on and off campus, to day-to-day administrative work at the university. Beyond that, it also serves as "infrastructure for infrastructure": an indispensable foundation for a wide range of systems that support campus life, including the campus-wide authentication and authorization system, the remote lecture system, the video conferencing system, the room access control system, inter-campus extension telephones, and the electricity and water meter reading system.

Communication is currently blocked between the external network and campus subnets for ports that have been determined to be unsafe for direct external communication. If this blocking causes any inconvenience, please contact us.
