Science Tokyo CERT

Science Tokyo has established Science Tokyo CERT as its dedicated information security team. CERT stands for Computer Emergency Response Team. To support research, education, and administrative activities, the team provides support for building a secure computing environment and carries out emergency response when security incidents occur. Because we believe that proactive response and preventive measures are most important for security incidents, we focus our efforts on activities such as publishing security information and conducting vulnerability assessments within the university.

When a Security Incident Occurs

When there is unauthorized access from outside the university to an on-campus host, we apply screening to that external host. If you notice access that appears to be unauthorized, please notify Science Tokyo CERT. When you do, log information such as the source, the destination, the port number, and the timestamp is helpful, so please include it.

If a security problem arises, please contact us.
