The Future of the Event Network
The Event Network for the School of Science and Engineering currently provides both wireless LAN and wired LAN. To strengthen information security, the wireless LAN provision will end at the end of September 2026, and from October 2026, wireless LAN for external visitors will be consolidated into eduroam. The wired LAN of the School of Science and Engineering Event Network will continue to be provided from October 2026 onward, in order to ensure a stable communication environment for speakers and event operations staff.

About the Use of the Event Network
For events such as academic conferences held at this university, when a faculty or staff member of this university can take responsibility for the network's use, we temporarily provide a dedicated event network free of charge.
To use this service, please review and agree to the terms of use before applying. In particular, please note the following:
- The person responsible and the contact person for the application must be faculty or staff members of this university only.
- The responsible person bears the obligation and responsibility to inform users of the terms of use and to ensure compliance.
- The responsible person bears responsibility for communications conducted via the Event Network.
- Applications must be submitted by 3 business days before the test date.
- The applicant agrees that, if any conduct or communications that violate the terms of use take place, the service may be suspended regardless of the application period.
Please note that applications, inquiries, and changes to application content submitted after the deadline may not allow us to provide sufficient service and will therefore be declined.
