About the DNS Server

Q. May I stop the name server we are currently operating in our organization?

A. Please make the decision within your organization, taking into account both the advantages and disadvantages. Note that we recommend operating it as a secondary server until the resolver settings on all clients have been updated.

Q. After I made changes, my website no longer displays.

A. It is highly likely that name resolution is failing due to an error in your record entries, so the page is not being displayed. Please check what you entered. In particular, we often see mistakes where the trailing . (period) is missing.

For details on how to write the entries, please investigate within your team. Writing entries for a DNS server requires a certain level of knowledge. We cannot support the review of individual entries, so please consult within your organization.

Q. When registering via the browser, is it OK if I do not click "Finish Editing"?

A. No. As soon as registration is complete (and without closing the browser midway), please be sure to proceed to "Finish Editing."
Also, once editing is finished, please be sure to close the browser once.

A. We will reissue them. The designated liaison should contact us, including the domain name in the inquiry.
